Hi guys, I have just joined this site. Dave Tourle, my partner and I have been keeping cichlids, Centrals, Malawis, Tanganykans some S/A (but our water is not really suitable), catfish and a few others for over 20 years. For while:help: we kept many species of the highly endangered, (or even extinct species from Madagascar), thanks to our good friend, the late Jean-Claude Nourissat, who sadly died in 2003. We are members of the ACA, AFC, BCA and EACG, all cichlids groups.
I hope to participate in a small way on this site, (and looking at the smilies hope the 'ban her' will not be necessary)!!
Now our problem, we have an excess of snails in some of our tanks, especially those with pairs and babies, so it must come from the fry food. As we no longer have any Madagascan Paretroplus species, who devour snails since forever, is there a species I can put in these tanks to get rid of the snails. I know Clown Loaches so somewhat, but is there another more efficient species. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Sonia
