Wow...I'm sure that aquarium costs more than most people's houses...not to mention the running costs. Extremely nice, though.

The operational cost would be as much as most house payments. Very nice though.

It looks like it's in the garage or something...how and why on earth would that thing not be displayed at least through the wall in a main part of the house?

No idea where it is. I was just kinda shocked that he managed to get that much water movement out of 24000 gph of Vortechs. I had half that on my 75 and didn't seem like it was as strong as it was in some spots in his tank. But 10 feet! I am impressed.

Well, you are just "Flow Insane" Amphiprion. I have 1 on my 75G and couldn't imagine even having 2. 1 is already too strong if turned up all the way, granted I don't have a 48" tank either, just a 30". I still have to balance flow with sandstorm/corals getting blasted. Actually, using short pulse mode, I doubt it gets over 30% speed.

I did see that tank before though when searching youtube for videos, but I never saw the entire tank like the video you found, I just found one that showed the 8 vortechs on the wall. I guess it works for him, but I would think placing them throughout the tank would be a better idea, although a more unsightly idea which I am sure is the main reason that person chose the placement they did.

I've heard about that tank, but never went looking for the video before. Incredible tank, that's for sure! I know of the guy that added the captions and such... it's a dead giveaway with his insertion of his website address. :)
