I now have my 55 gallon tank up and running. It has 3 red zebras, 2 yellow tailed violets, 3 kenyi's, 3 colbalt blues, and one common pleco. Now I'm hoping to add plants after Christmas. I have a couple of problems I'm hoping to get advice on....
1) I plan to get hardy tough plants my fish won't eat. I don't even know if this plant stuff will work with my cichlids. But I'm going to try anyway don't try to talk me out of it. Should I go for the DIY CO2 or pressurized?? I don't know if these plants will need a lot of CO2 in the first place.
2) When you look at plants online and their requirments and such. How do you know that they are a tough plant or they are a gentle nice salad bar for cichlids?
