I have kept various pygmy chameleon species over the years so let me know if you have any questions.

Great articles! :)

Chris - Not that I'm usually for mixing reptile species but what are your thoughts on keeping R. brevicaudatus with Lygodactylus williamsi in some type of biotope? Both animals come from a similar area and habitat of Eastern Tanzania.

awesome chams... good choice! like chris mentioned be sure to be very aware of care for chams before getting one!

Glad someone has had one before, i was wondering what equpiment i should have.
i have the 20 gal aqaurium, ive read they dont like glass becuase they do not like to see themselves? is this actually true? i have alot of substrate.. a giant piece of drift wood for him and alot of moss and some fake plants..

Should i buy a mister and anything else?!
(im going to read your articles now)

WOW THAT ARTICLE IS LONG AND CRAZY INFORMATIONAL!

Awesome, I'm planning on turning my old 55g into a vivarium/rainforest setup with a Chameleon and was looking at the Pygmies as well as the Panther Chameleon. I'm still in my research stage now but hope to start my project sometime within the next 2 months. Great articles.

After more reading maybe a chameleon isn't the best choice for a glass aquarium. Dang!..and they look so cool too.

Yep, most chameleon species don't thrive in glass aquariums but Pygmy Chams are an exception.

I have been wondering how many people are actually keeping these lil' guys, let us know how it goes! I think they would be an awesome vivarium centerpiece
