Hello everyone,

will this lighting fixture work for a 20 gallon tank?

You will probably need to add CO2 and ferts, but if you do that it should be OK.

Not necessarily.

A 20" fixture on a 30" tank...going to leave some room on the ends that might not get much light, depending on how good the reflectors are.

I dunno I picked up a couple of these for my 29G and they work pretty good

complete fixtures tho

I also have a sunpaq 65Watt that is good too. did go with ah reflectors on one.

the diff is the bulbs are 24" and i get no shadows on the ends.

i personally feel the ballast in the sunpaq is better.
mine has a remote ballast with the switch on the ballast.

Good point,I missed the length of the fixture.

Price seems a bit high to me,but not outrageous.
