Ok so I am getting a 30 gallon convict tank up and running soon. My girlfriend wanted to put a couple crayfish in there with them so we caught a couple of what I believe to be Orconectes virilis.
I was looking on the internet and they say that they can get up to be about 4 inches long without claws added into that measurement. Do the growth of these creatures get stunted in an aquarium or will they grow larger? I don't want to kill the fish with a crayfish so I would like to know a little more information before I add these two to the big tank.
