I am about to get one delivered to me soon. A sweet rare find, 60 gb CECHA01 PS3 model. $650 new. Would go from $800 to $1000 NEW to get the rare model. I lucked out! It's backwards compatible with PlayStation 1 and 2 games that is the reason why it's a rare model;it's being discontinued for sale.

(Get it if you can find it! Hope you can afford it too :) ) I'm going to be playing Street Fighter IV and newer games coming soon(King of Fighters XII, Final Fantasy XIII).

There's still a lot to do, the PS3 doesn't only play games. It has a blu-ray player built in to watch HD movies, you can listen to music, view pictures, internet, etc,

Awesome! :p:

Orly now. So the hired dude chipped it. Now you can play copies. Noice...

Anyhow, lets get back to subject.

So who owns a PS3!! Talk about it here! :)

Yea, my husband bought one of when they first came out for a few hundred....a few months back the video completetly went out on it though, we've bought new cords, tried different tvs, it's definitely the PS3 and we've had it a few years, so no warranty left. He went and bought a new one and found out it wasn't backwards compatable and took it right back because that's just wrong to pay that much for a system and have it be so inferior to the one he's owned for a couple years, especially since he mostly used it for FFXI. Now he's in Iraq and he left me with the task of trying to get this one fixed, but with the move/house stuff happening I haven't had the time to look into it yet....thanks for reminding me!

Glad I helped reminding you.

Nope... I prefer my video games on the computer. The mouse and keyboard I understand, 60 little buttons lumped all the way around a 7" paddle is just too much for my little brain to handle.
