I'm looking for a good site where I can find info on specific species of corals, and perhaps some pics of them for correct ID. There are a few things I want to add to my tank, but I can't bring myself to trust what the guys at the LFS say all the time. Thanks a bunch.

For stonies, CoralBase (http://whelk.aims.gov.au/coralsearch/coralsearch.php) is a great site for info and diagnostics for particular species.

For softies, I generally use Eric Borneman's Aquarium Corals book. There may be a good ID site out there, but I don't know it. Sprung and Delbeek's Reef Aquarium vol 2 is also good.

Keep in mind that coral taxonomy is a nightmare, even for the pros. Usually, the best you can do is identify to genus. Even then, the genus may turn out to be invalid down the road.
