I recently got 3 new DP's to add to the original 3 in my 20 long. One of the new ones has IP. When I got the original 3, one of those had IP and I lost all my amano shrimp from treating the main tank, so that's out. I was going to borrow a 5 gallon tank from a friend to use as QT, but that didn't work out. So I thought the heck with it. I put an aquaclear filter on a 5 gallon bucket, put in a couple sprigs of wysteria and bammo... QT. Does this sound like it'll work?
The temperature is warm enough that I shouldn't need to worry about a heater. I'm confident in the treatment itself, but I've never used a bucket for something like this before and thought I'd ask if anyone had any suggestions...
