I was just wondering...
We have some rainbow trout that have been sitting in the freezer for over a year and it doesn't look like any body is going to eat it. Anyway, I cut a few small pieces off of it, unthawed them in hot water, put it in the microwave for 20s, then put it in cold water. I gave small piece to my jaguar. He loved it....so did the bullhead (they went crazy). Is this all right to do?
I would assume (aweful word) that it would be okay to do this once a week, but I thought I'd check in and make sure it's okay. I would think that the trout would have more nutritional value than feeders, and a frozen, thawed, and then cooked wild fish is a good alternative to feeding him feeder fish. What do you guys think?
