Which screw in bulbs do you guys use? I've looked at Home Depot and Walmart but I am not sure if there is something specific that I need to buy...or does it not really matter?

I am looking for moderate light, as vague as that sounds. Probably around 40 watts for a 10 gallon?

Thats actually the ones I was about to buy...I think they have 20w bulbs or something close to that so I'll pick up a pair tomorrow.

if it's going to be planted i like the ge daylight 6500k (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5984218) better. for some reason i have more visible light, better growth and less algae. one small spot on the glass where the light is more concentrated and the java moss is just getting to.

they have 10 watt (40 watt replacement) up to 27 watt (100 watt replacement). you can usually get them in 2 packs at any walmart also so they're cheap too.

i did have those other bulbs on my fish tank. i found a better place for them. now my bathroom shines kinda blue. :hypnotized:... :silly:
