So I am heading down to the DE shore for a few days tomorrow and today I am making sure to get all the remaining wcs done so I can leave early. Jik I can't get to all 8 tanks I figured to start with the zebra grow out and the spotted pleco breeder and fry tank (they were bought as L-201 but might be a different small spotted hypan).
I have cleaned the sponge filter, cleaned the AC 100 and am returning the media to the AC 150 when I notice there is something under the back of one of the caves. The back of the square clay cave is shaped like this > and under the > is a batch of fresh pleco eggs. Now these fish have plenty of caves, have spawned twice in caves so I know they know how to spawn like plecos.
I can't monitor the eggs where they are and I cant monitor them in a trap while I am away so I can't really move them there either. If I didn't know better I would say the fish did it on purpose just to annoy me because I am taking a few day away from them. How they found out I am going I do not know. :screwy:
