This is in Williamsport, only 45 minutes from me. Seems like a good deal, considering its the 90 gallon tank, nice looking lights AND a stand.

Buuuuuuut, my parents would NEVER let me set this up. NO WAY. AND, even though it seems like a good price, it's still a lot of money.

What should I do?

I was thinking maybe I could barter him down a bit (maybe to 200? 150?). I was also thinking maybe I could buy it now, but not set it up. Would it be okay to store it in a damp, musty, dusty basement though? I have the old style basement, with river rock walls, lots of critters and lots of moisture.

I NEED OPINIONS! I AM UNABLE TO MAKE A DECISION WITHOUT INPUT!
 
Careful, someone else might see this and buy it right out from under your feet. :)

Probably...which I suppose makes this post a moot point. But he did reply to my email, so maybe not.

I wish my parents would let me set it up.
 
I did note that it was used for salt water. I'm not much of a salty... could I still use it for freshwater?
 
And so the temptation grows...
I do have a friend who owes me 400 dollars. I should heckle her. Normally I never heckle, but this seems heckle worthy.
