:help2: I have 2 Kribensis and they are a male/female pair. The female follows the male around and shakes in front of him. He chases her around alot and sometimes nibbles her. But she always goes right back to him and shakes in front of him. I have a cave set up for them and the male sleeps in it, if the female goes in the cave he will chase her out. Is this normal for kribs? The male just keeps chasing her away. I got the male about a week ago and the female about a month ago. The male is around 4 inches and the female is around 3 inches. Here are pics! I also put a rock in front of the breeding cave so it suits them more.

seems pretty normal to me. mine do almost the same thing, and i got eggs last week. i think they might've been too young though and they weren't fertiziled and they ate them but still, i think this is the norm for krib.

that's about the only info i really have. i've only had them for a while and don't know a ton about them yet.

I have male and female kribs, only had them a couple weeks. I knew they were up to something.....female shaking in front of male etc,. I have never seen any eggs but now today the female is in a hole in a rock and she is not looking so good almost panting like, and there are two babies that we just noticed. any idea what is going on?

Your females look like they have a lot eggs and are ready to spawn, you can try taking him out for a day or so re-arrange the decor and see if he picks up on her intentions to breed..
