a Silicon sealant thats safe (GE)

I haerd all aquarium sells good sealent but then I heard a company name GE is in cahoots and selling the same stuff for cheaper. Can someone help.

Aquarium sealant is just clear silicon caulking. You can get it at Home Depot.
