Live Rock

I'm planning on buying a fish tank set up as a fowlr. I want to buy it to put corals in it using the same live rock in it right now. The current owner has low lighting and the rocks don't have any coraline on it. The rocks look clean with no algae on it.

My question is, is it safe to use this live rock for coral setup. What do you guys think?

Absolutely safe as long as it is real rock from the ocean and not out of the yard which is pretty easy to spot the difference.
