Hey all. The biggest of my snail babies are approaching pea size, so the question now becomes....what do I do with them all?! I can bring them to the pet store, but I would rather give them to someone I trust to care for them. I will post an ad in the Markteplace here, but first I have a question. This info is in the sticky in this forum:

"Pomacea bridgesii “mystery snail”- these snails are not plant eaters but REQUIRE permits to sell across state lines. Make sure your seller has these permits PLEASE! It is ONLY legal to sell the snails, it is ALWAYS illegal to sell the eggs. Edit: No longer illegal to ship without permits."

So, does this mean I can ship them across state lines without a permit? Is there a distinction between selling and giving away for free?

Thanks!

You can do what you like with Bridgesii snails they are no longer restricted. The sticky is confusing.
