Hello,
I've been lurking for a while and finally joined. I have a 150g no overflow display tank that was FOWLR and plumbed to a cannister filter through the wall into my garage.
All of that changed when I decided to go reef. Now I have PVC overflows through the wall. I built an acrylic sump/refuge, acrylic turf scrubber and added a 1/2 HP chiller. I am in the process of hooking up my T5 lights and then will have to remove all of my crushed coral and switch to sand.
As my wife says, what happened to a simple fish tank with 1 hole in the wall? Now I have 4 holes in the wall and have a dedicated garage spot for all of the equipment. :grinno: I guess that there are some more expensive hobbies, but I don't have my pilots license.
