Corydora with white spot. Sick? Injured?

Hello,

One of my (ridiculously awesome) cories developed a white spot on its side last week. Around the same time, the cory seemed to have some cloudiness around an eye. The cloudiness around the eye looks to be clearing up, but there has been no reduction in the white spot. I checked the water quality and things looked to be within normal parameters. Also, the water temperature has been raised and we've been doing 25% water changes every other day. I'm pretty new to having an aquarium and I'm not sure where to go from here. The other inhabitants of the tank are 2 other corys, 5 neon tetras, and 2 ghost shrimp. I've attached some (badly taken) photographs of the Cory and one of the aquarium in the hope it will provide clues. Any help and advice would be very much appreciated.

Not sure what the white spot is from, but cloudy eyes is usually an indication of deteriorating water quality. It's good that you increased the water changes. The tank looks small so you have to be especially careful about the water quality. Are you using test strips or liquid test kit to monitor water quality? How big is the tank and what is your normal maintenance on it?
 
Thanks for the reply! The tank is a 10 gallon. I'm using a strip kit to test the water quality. Before this problem showed up I'd been doing a 40% water change once per week.

Btw, I just used a test strip (it's been 2 days since the last water change) and the results are:

Ammonia: 0 ph: 6 alkalinity: 180ppm nitrite: 0 nitrate: 10 ppm
 
Strip kits are known to be inaccurate. Keep up with the additional extra water changes and be careful that you're not overfeeding. A fish's stomach isn't very big.
 
Looks sorta like a scrape. He/she may have rubbed hard or actually got slightly tossed about during a water change and scraped up. Keep doing extra water changes to freshen the water it may heal just fine. Doesnt look like Ich or fungus yet.
