Moon Wrasse Launching Himself Into Glass Top

The Lunar Wrasse in my roommate's 72 bowfront keeps launching himself into the glass canopy over the tank. Other than that he's acting normal, eating, swimming, everything.

What are some possible reasons for this?
 
i had a pencil wrasse that did the same thing except in my make-shift hospital tank.

this dumb fish burried himself under the sand and wedged himself under a sharp piece of LR. cut himself good.....while having his hospital visit he jumped out twice...then my persian cat got him......

sounds funny...i even laughed...but that wrasse cost me $59.99
cat cost me $800 so i kept it
 
almost forgot.....

evaporating water on the glass top will make drops of water hang. he may see the reflection and think its food, thus jumping at it to eat....
