As above , planted 3 weeks ago not a hint of growth! Adding liquid seachem plant food and a few rooting suppliments, have two sets of t8 liting tubes 2 9w 2 24w. Any help would be most appreciated!

moss is a slow grower, it may take it awhile, also, it may have to be in your tank for awhile before it wants to grow, in a few weeks it should start growing if you leave it alone.

a rolling stone gathers no moss.....that shouldn't help you with anything.

moss is a very slow grower, just be patient....sometimes it takes a while for a plant to get used to your tank as well. about 4 months ago i got 9 dwarf sag plants, about 2 weeks ago they started to really start spreading quickly across the bottom of my tank.

I agree. Moss seems to take forever before it starts to seem to grow. I've had flame moss for months in my 75g community, and it has started to look like it does in pictures only about 2-3 months ago (after being in for at least 2) and now it seems like its starting to get bigger. Granted, this is only under 1.7wpg with sporadic Excel doses and no ferts except for fishy poo and maybe some fish food.

Moss doesn't like changes very well. It takes awhile for it to become accustomed to the water and lighting. Once it does it will start growing a bit faster. Not greatly but a little faster.

Cheers all I see ill just have to wait!!!

A watched pot never boils. Leave for a month, come back and I bet it will have grown!:)

Moss grows really slow for me, too, if you want something that looks similar I suggest guppy grass. I can't get that stuff to stop growing!

Mine was slow at first, too. Now I swear it grows an inch every day, it's out of control!
