I have been trying for MONTHS to find a pair of Pearlscale goldfish! (Not necessarily m/f, just two of them at least, 3-4 at the most)

My local (well, 60 miles away) Petsmart has them advertised, but has not had any in stock in some months.

I NEED a pair of ping pong balls in my life! :nilly: Anyone know where I might be able to find some? I don't want to order online from a big box store, because I need to see pictures of the actual fish I am getting beforehand, and IMO the shipping prices are outrageous. I need to purchase from either a local store, or a hobbyist. :1zhelp::huh:

Well I don't know if you would rather pay shipping costs from a member, but Nbo does some amazing ones and he is a wholesaler - maybe you could arrange a deal with him? He posted a couple of pics a few days ago.

Shipping costs are fine, just not the ridiculousness that the big companies want, lol. Having shipped fish myself I KNOW it can be done cheaper than what they want, lol.

Kris- Dr. Foster and Smith have them in stock for $5.99 and $36.00 shipping up to $100, I think. I have heard really good things about their livestock. If you want four of them, it would be worth the shipping cost.

I have spoke to Nbo by PM, so we will see what comes of that. I did look at Raingarden, and it is more really than I want to spend.

The only problem with LiveAquaria is that they are crown pearlscale, and I think I prefer Tiku. Also, I can't see the fish beforehand. I am so dang picky, I just can't buy that way, lol.

(I did come home with an early birthday present from my mother - an Oranda that I have been drooling over for the last couple of months!)

I like the crown pearlscales just as well as the tikus.:) They look like an oranda cross too. Both pearlscales carry the same degree of cuteness.:hearts: :D
