Hello I am new to this forum from Johannesburg, South Africa

Posted in the introductions and was referred here.

After many years of involvement in this hobby - fresh water / tropical --> marine --> Marine reef, I have discovered this forum.

I have a fluke infestation in my reef aquarium and have had a suggestion to use mebendazole but am concerned about possible negative effects on invertebrates - corals / anemones / worms in the substrate and crustaceans.

Can anybody advise me?

This medication will kill invertebrates, as it is somewhat undiscriminating. You'll need to treat outside of the main display.
