This is why you should always check behind the HOB filter spouts if you have Briggs. Usually Lily lays the clutches on the glass canopy or on the right side of the tank. I found this today during routine maintenance. I have placed it in a breeder. I don't have much luck with clutches; we'll see what happens. IMG_1746.JPG

Mystery snails are pretty sneaky with there clutch laying!
I just found one under the lights during my last water change and it was already hatching & I have found them behind the filter as well.

behind the hob filter outputs is the only place my briggs lay clutches these days. i think they figured out that i'm not as likely to 'steal n freeze their babies' that way, lol!
 
I have no idea how old this clutch is, but it does look like it should be ready in a few days.
