I'm setting up my 55g to be for SA/CA Cichlids of some sort. What would you guys recommend as a stocking list(s)? A couple different options would be great! I will have a royal pleco, and probably 3-4 pictus catfish in there, so they must be able to get along. Any thoughts are much appreciated!

What fish are you intrested in? A lot of CA/SA cichlids will get to large for a 55g tank.

How about a medium sized SA cichlid like a blue acara or a severum. With good filtration, you could probably have a couple cichlids

I'm all in to the dwarf cichlids now... you could put several pairs of those in there, they're also pretty peaceful.
