He has little yellowish/greenish spots, and has a bluish/greenish/greyish body. He is about 7 inches long, and is very social and active. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am kind of leaning towards L128 - Blue Phantom Pleco, but I am not positive at all. Also, any suggestions as to what he would like to eat would be appreciated... he doesn't seem interested in the algae wafers that I put in the tank with him...

I think Hypancistrus sp. (L004) is the right guess. This thread should be moved to the bottom feeder/pleco section by one of the mods and you'll get all sorts of pleco lovers telling you what your pretty guy is!

That was a decent suggestion but the data sheet says he only gets to 3.9" and mine is already around 7, so that couldn't possibly be it, plus his spots are smaller than that... Keep 'em comin' though... and if a mod wants to move this to the pleco section, you are more than welcome. The more suggestions the better as far as I am concerned!

Yea- I just looked at the pic, and they look similar.... I'm no expert on Plecos though. Someone here in the Pleco section will be able to help ID! =D

Pretty guy though! Very cute!

thanks =)

Whatever it is, its nice.

Try feeding it blanched green veggies. Squash and cucumbers are good choices.
