I have a 100g with 3 blood parrots an oscar, 8 tiger barbs, 6 emerald corries and a syno cat and was wondering if I got two sengals about 3-4" and no the oscar would not be able to eat them he is too small. Would the birchir eat the corries. This would be my concern with them.

It will likely try and eat the cories when it gets a bit larger.

I'd be careful with that combo. The Poly will probably go after the Cories and the Cories will become a choking hazard with those sharp pectoral fins.

I kept bichirs with my 2 oscars when I had them, no agression or feasting. I have 2 quite small bichirs in my community tank, most of my cories are full grown. so far my bichirs and ropefish have been wonderful no matter who they are with, but I know I would not throw a full sized hungry bichir in with small cories, other than that, they seem fine.
