The other day a group of kids caught about 30 crawdads in the local creek and were making them fight to the death.
So I asked if I could have one to stick in my fish tank. After QTing this thing, I decided to drop it into my main tank (today actually) where there was another crawdad.
I did a 30% water change too.
Today I had just come in from the LFS with another Rainbow and was startled by what I saw!
Papa Crawdad was gettin' it on with the sexy new mamasita. She's a real slut too, as they just met.
Look at this. He's all into that kinky rough sex. Notice how he's got his claws around hers. :nono:
This lasted about 10 minutes. Mah boi has some dexterity! Hopefully I'll catch them again later and hopefully she'll berry up and I'll have a whole tank full of babies.
I'm excited about this too as this is the first time any of my fish/inverts have mated.
