SE Asia River Plants?

I plan on doing a 60 gal SE Asia river tank. My main fish will be red/rose line torpedo barbs. I have no idea what types of plants are in those rivers. I'd like to keep this tank as close to their natural habitat as possible.

Any idea on that plants?
 
I have a book with biotopes in it... the Southeast Asia River one includes:
- Onion Plant
- Hairgrass
- Water Shamrock
- Japanese Cress
- Crypt spp.
- Giant Vallis
- Giant Red Rotala

Hope that helps! (I can provide some other info from the book about setting up the biotope if needed also :))
