I'm not sure how much to feed my fish, 2 domino damsels and 1 yellow tail. They are all pretty small, about the size of a quarter, if not bigger. I've been giving them flake food that I crumble up once a day. The piece I give them is usually a little bigger than a quarter as well. I also have 3 blue legged hermits and 3 turbo snails in the tank, but they've been eating algae and other detrius. Am I feeding the fish enough? I've heard you give them enough to finish before it settles to the bottom, and I haven't seen any food lying around, but then again the food gets crubled up so small. Any advise would be appreciated!

It sounds like they should be getting enough. Damsels will also eat algae, so don't be too vigilant in cleaning off the non-viewing sides of the tank, and they will be fine. A bit of algae on the back will also help pods populations.

Alright, unfortuanetly my tank is built into my wall so both long sides are visible, and both sides really need to be cleaned for each room to enjoy the tank, but the narrow sides are 21x18, and behind my bak pak on the one long side doesn't get cleaned. I still haven't seen any pods, which I'm really hoping for, because I want a mandarin down the road.
