im trying to set up a cichlid tank right now i got 6 african cichlids but i was wondering if i could put diff types of cichlids in one tank like some south american cichlids or just any other type of cichlids. also i would like sand instead of gravel any ideas which type, like can i just put play sand in it or what?? and does anyone know where i can get something like the big foam rock backgrounds?? and one more thing what kind of rocks should i use and how do i know if their safe? please any info that any one can give would be greatly appreciated..ps its a 55 gallon tank, how many cichlids could i have
