Hey everyone I was wondering what filter you would pick for a 37 gallon res turtle tank? I just bought the 2026 and was wondering if it's good enough or should the tank or should I return and get the 2028. What you think?

I wish I had an answer for you, but found it hard to find specs on the 2026.
My GUESS is that you'll be fine, but it's always good to have as much filtration as possible. That's not to say that the 2028 is the best way to go... I'm not sure what the difference in price is, but it might actually be a better move to get a second filter instead of a larger single filter. Having two gives you a lot of flexibility in terms of water movement and media types, and also gives you some backup if one clogs or fails.
what is the flow rate on the 2026? the 2028? the price of each?

Well see I got the 2026 for $49.99 brand new from Petsmart yesterday, and they had the 2028 for $69.99. I didn't want my mom spending so much cause I didn't have the cash so I got the 2026. Someone on another forum told me it it'll work good on my tank.
It says 172gph, and can filter up to 100 gallons.
I'm thinking if anything I would just have to clean it more frequent.

I think you'll be fine. you won't even be filtering 20 gallons if the tank is half full, it's more than enough by the numbers.
how was the filter that cheap? that's unsane. don't they usually go for 200-300 bucks?

if you really got it that cheap, you should buy another one

Yea they normally go for $199.99, and I really got it for $49.99, but they only had one left of the 2026, and they have one 2028 for $69.99, no idea if its still there.
