Well I had a australian cattle dog named Kiki, she was my girl, I loved her. But she did the unthinkable, She bit my daughter while she was staring off into the TV. So, I thought it was a one time thing, then she went after my friends baby in an aggressive manner. My husband caught her mid flight and prevented the bite. I did what I thought was right and gave her back to her previous owners. It hurt, alot. So I went to find a 4 legged friend for my Chewy boy, and family. Thats when I met her. Little fuzz ball, all matted, dirty, with pee stains on her back, and god knows what tangled in her hair. They said she was on hold, but I was able to talk them into letting me take her home and give her a great home, or wait on someone who may be a flake. And here she is, I gave her 2 baths, brushed out her mats, and gave her a puppy cut, She is 6 years old, bichon frise, still waiting on my mom to name her......

Very nice, yuo do have to be so careful when selecting a dog for young children. I also took one back before I found the right one and I have been so happy with her since, never has even tried to bite any of my 3 kids. Training will help a lot, but some of it is just temperment. Good luck with this one, she cleans up well.
