Its been about 3 months since I started my imitation SW reef 80 tank with about 15 assorted AF Cichlids. Tiny when I bought them for $3 a piece now growing fast. I'm very impressed with these fish because this is the first time I have kept a new species in a new tank with NO deaths or disease at all. They seem to be tough as nails as much as they peck at one anther and dart in and out the sharp corals they seem to all be doing fine. But I leaned early on that one important key are hiding places and caves. I imagined AF Cichlids being hard to keep but so far its been easy and entertaining as these guys are always popping in and out from behind the scenes like stage performers lol.
