Has anyone tried this line of filters?

Actually there aren't many bargains in the used Aquaclear market but there are good deals in other commonly available filters like Aqua Tech and whisper where you can find cartridge filters anywhere and parts are available for order. You just have to keep biding for a low price and it will hit sooner then you think. The problem with a NO-name brand is if anything brakes you cant find parts.

I bought 1 of them while back for the betta tank at work does a decent job but I dont think it would do for a tank bigger then 5 gallons unless you just have 1 betta in a 10 then it would be ok. its a small filter just about the size of them red sea nano filters.

Coincidentally enough, I was thinking about replacing a Red Sea Nano with one of these on my MB2.5
 
Sorry about that Vamp, I fell into the same assumptions as everyone else, that you were in need of a quality low cost HOB. Although it did cross my mind that maybe you were just be asking to find out about that filter alone and nothing more. But the over helpful side in me won out. Hope you find what you are looking for.
 
Don't take my previous post as anything negative CWO, I often come off as mean or belittling when I don't mean to me. I really need to look over my own posts before I hit the Submit button..

The reason I asked about this filter specifically is because it's going on a Minibow 2.5 which has had it's occasional cases with surface scum. The filter's size and built-in skimmer made it an interesting choice, but I just wanted to hear some reviews, since I wouldn't know if it's noisy, unreliable, etc.
