Hi Guys

may I know what to feed these 2 fished with? They have gone without food for almost a week and seems happy nipping on LR and feather dusters. Do yuo think I need to feed them or they are able to find food within the tank.

Lastly, how do you determined if a feather duster is dead? Eversince I got the butterfly, they seldom bloom.

Lastly, I have got a red feather star , may I know what it feeds on? Thanlks
 
Butterflies are predatory on reefs so it doesn't suprise me it is chewing the FD's. What have you tried feeding. Most will eat frozen prepared foods (I don't know what they have where you are from) but here in USA the Ocean Nutrition Formula One and Formula Two frozen are very popular and most to all fish will eat it. Also what size tank and what are the tankmates. Anyway, hope this helps.

I am from Singapore and I do not think that they sell formula food over here. I have tried feeding them pellets but to no avial. However I think they can just survive by pecking on my LR and some corals which I have.

Mine is a 3ft and 45 gallon tank, I have a few mushrooms and hammer branch. The onlank mate it has is a bi colour angel and that is all. Please advise.
