The Bush administration should be held accountable for not telling the American people about the stark changes at the polar ice cap.

True, just wanted people to see, I think I've been reading too much of Salon though.:grinno:

As long as we stay on topic about the polar ice cap....thanks...

our world just might not make it,.. with big wigs saying its OK and doing nothing,..

we need to worry about getting emergence action into place now not worry about peoples clunkers,.. the major factories are doing more damage here,.. and work on," what if " technology asap,..

they know were in danger of collision in the near future with comets/space junk get a defense ready now, to blow it to pieces before it close enough to damage anything

history repeats itself, learn from it or die.

he who ignores history is doomed to repeat it

Pretty much this will hopefully draw attention to the fact that things like this cannot be downplayed or ignored. There is a new bill environmental bill that is supposed to regulate industry emissions but really it's halfhearted and doesn't make companies accountable. Also everyone shares a part in this from endocrine disruptors to CO2.

Global warming seems to be cooling down and people don't seem to believe or care for it as much and it's being constantly attacked by critics. Even the satellites that monitor temp changes and other data are not being replace.

um i hate to tell you this but human being have done less than 1% of the damage done to the ozone, one volcanic eruption does more damage than we have in our entire existance, plus global warming has happened before, just before the last ice age!
