she is female pygmy leaf chameleon i just got her today, i picked her because she looked like the biggest and could have the possibility of being pregnant. she has a very large belly and earlier when i was choosing the one i wanted her belly puffed up. also she looked very noticeably different in size than others in cage with her. but i wasnt sure if maybe she might have just eaten when i got her. -thank you for feedback.:o

She's not obviously gravid but she could be.

Neither of those bulbs are appropriate. This species needs to be kept cool (mid 70s). Get a Reptisun 5.0 Linear Fluorescent UVB bulb. Also, only keep the lights on 12 hours a day. They do not need light or a heat source at night.

thank you very much, i am going to my pet store today and getting the new bulb and a male. i was wondering if you would have any suggestions on keeping a female and a male together in a 20 gallon? is there anything special i should do or get? and is there an appropriate way to keep track of the hours besides looking at the clock?

I recommend reading those caresheets I posted in your other thread. For hours the lights are on, get a timer.
