Hey, I would like to share this little story about my cichlids.
A while back prob 2 years it is now i bred ONLY convicts and jellybean cons. And i had 2 pairs of Jellies and one of convicts. One pair died while they had fry. ANd my other jelly pair had only eggs so ik they would've killed them. So i figured, hey, my cons have fry about the same age so at nite when they were all sleeping, i went into the fishroom with a flashlight and went over to the jellybean tank and get out all the fry. and i quickly shined it at the con tank to see where they were and i put the babies right with them.
The next morning i was expecting the worst. But i walked in and there was the con mommy and daddy with there fry and there new adopt-ies. I WAS SHOCKED! It really worked!!!!! They jellybean and con fry con mingled and now they had a nice BIGGGG batch of fry. I thought this was an interesting story and i hope you enjoyed it!!!
