Im planning on putting a pleco in my Mbuna tank(had one in there a few months ago, but decided to move him to a bigger tank) but now its planted with Java fern and moss and i was wondering if it will eat the plants?

Mine don't touch the plants as long as they are getting plenty of food from other sources.

What kind of pleco are you getting? Some eat plants and some won't.

A good choice for a african tank is a bristlenose pleco. Its the best algae eater but won't eat your plants. I have 1 on my 90g african tank.
