Starting recently when I click to type in the text boxes my internet and start to type, my internet will "freeze up" for a little and whatever I was trying to type will show up but it will be backwards from what I wanted. So it will show "hsiF" when I typed in Fish.

I am not sure if this is an AC problem or something wrong with my browser (Firefox)...I am thinking the latter.

Any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it? I've tried restarting my computer but it comes back eventually.

Now I'm almost positive that its FF because IE is working fine

And now I can't open FF because I'm getting a message that its already in use...when I don't even have it open...

have you updated or reinstalled FF lately? I know some updates just came out. It's possible that they could be the cause or fix for the problem.

Make sure you have the latest version of FF installed.(3.5.2)

Well, everything should be up to date but I reintalled 3.5.2 just now.

I've google searched and read everything from malware to problems with add-ons.

Haha. I've run webroot and nothing is coming back...switched to IE and everything is working normal.

Something is wrong with Firefox and my laptop. The past couple days its run slower than normal and then this started happening.

Have you tried using a relatively complicated arrangement of mirrors when typing ?

I've had that problem with Firefox, too, often right after upgrading. Try closing all the FF windows, open Task Manager (alt+ctrl_delete), go to processes, and kill anything that says firefox. The open a new browser, and try again. Do you have XP? I have this problem on my XP computer, and never on the Vista one even though the setup is pretty similar.
