I purchased a couple of 55w PC bulbs today and rewired my Workhorse 5 ballast that I was previously using with 4-T12 bulbs.
I looked online at the workhorse wiring diagram, but I need to make sure that I set it up correctly.
Sorry this may be confusing, bear with me here;
The end-clips for the bulbs have 4 plugs that match the 4 pins on the bulb, I connected 2 postitive wires in one end of the clip, and the negative at the other end, leaving the two plugs in the middle open.
For my second bulb, again I plugged 2 positive wires into one end, and ran a negative from the other clip to the end of the second clip. The 2 middle holes are left open on this too.
The setup looks as if it's working so far, but I'd like to make sure before running it for long periods. Another thing is that the bulbs got very hot, is this normal for PC lighting, or should they stay cool like regular fluorescents?
Thanks for your time.
