The yellow striped one couldbe this guy.

These are jsut a few guesses without really comparing them back to your pics to carefully. I jsut chose the fish that i thought they could be.
Why are you buying fish you dont' know about?They are all pretty aggresive species.

not likely. i only viewed the auratus but those are too small to be 6 months old and they are still in juvenile colors.
if those are adult colors then i can promise you they won't breed, male auratus look basically black.
chicopae (sp?) also have these colors, but they are far less common around here.

personal preference for colors?
you might also want to read some on the auratus if you plan on keeping them, my understanding is that they are primarily herbivores and are susceptable to "bloat" if they have too much protein.

no, i wondered why swap one type for the other, except for the colors they are all pretty similar.
