Here are some pictures of my newly set up 30g Tanganyika tank, which I was up until 12:30am setting up this morning. I seeded it with all the sand from my 10g and the bubble filter from my 10g. I will put in my other bubble filter in a few days.
Current Stocking is
2 N. leleupi 1.25" and 1.5"
2 J. transcriptus 2.5'' and 1"
I'm going to be getting an A. calvus, and 2 more julis (only to get a pair, once I have a pair I will be bringing 2 back to the lfs). Is this too much for the tank?

Me likey!
I reccently set up a 33 gal malawi tank that looks similar... very neat!
What kind of rocks did you use and where did you get them from? And, did you silicone the rocks together?
You should get a synodontis catfish in there- although they grow up to 5" i think, maybe a little big for the tank (i dunno i have a syno multi. in my 33). They are sooo cool!

Thanks all :)
I collected the rocks from around my house just before we got hit with our last snow storm. I didn't silicone them together, but they aren't stacked very high and I don't think the Tanganikans dig as much as the Malawi's, do they? I was going to get a pair of upside down cats for catfish later on, as they only get 4 inches.
My camera seems to overexagerate the contrast between light and dark. The light is only 15w from the flouresant(sp?) screw-in bulbs.
Thanks again :)
