It's been about ten years since i've had to buy pumps for a tank.
My question;
Has any company out there been able to manufacture a silent pump powerful enough to be used as the main recirculating pump,or for a downdraft skimmer?
Iused to own a rainbow lifeguard that I used for wave making and I loved it ,but it wouldn't cut as a main pump (not enough volume)
When I broke my last tank down my pumps were stored in a rubbermaid 20 gallon tub, which my father left outdoors for a week or so during some remodling work on his home. As luck would have it the lid leaked and the pumps wound up under water ruining 3 of them, so....
Any input would be appreciated.
