New guidelines for high school sports (ie football) for prevention of heat exhaustion http://www.nata.org/NATA09AnnualMeetingLeadRelease.pdf If your child has practices than last more than 3hrs it is a clear disregard to these new guidelines. But this should be applied to any sport when prolonged or strenuous activity is involved (track, wrestling, weight training, etc.). Be safe!
