ich is killing over and over.. this death hit me hard.

so, ive had a zig zag yellow tail eel for a few months now, and he was by far my favorite fish. he had such an awesome personality.

i moved him out of the 46 bowfront while i was treating for ich, and placed him in a 2 gallon.

so this morning i searched for him until i had to leave, and after i got back, i tore the small tank apart trying to find him.

yeah, found him dead and dry behind the small 2 gallon :(

this ich is just taking out my fish left and right..

Not to be insensitive, but you should never quarantine a fish when you're treating a tank for ich (unless you're treating the QT tank as well.) If it's in your tank, it's on your fish. Reintroducing him to the tank would have brought the ich back all over again (again, not unless you were treating his two gallon as well.) Also, the two gallon was too small even as a temporary home for something like an eel.

thanks. i lost another rummynose today. the total is at one eel, one cory cat, and two rummy-noses
