A small group of cories??? I am trying to think of ways to make my tank more active. Any top dwelling fish?? Thanks!

My hypocrisy goes only so far
I am considering either getting a group of cories or a group of tetras or both today. I may need to add another angel to lessen the aggression between the 2. It may not be too bad, they just like picking on each other and twitching a little. I only saw them lip lock twice within a few minutes (after adding a cube of blood worms). Other than that, they swim together peacefully. Anywho, even though I have a pleco, it would still be alright to add cories?? Pleco won't have a fit will he? Thanks!
I have a pl*co and cories and they pretty much ignore each other. They have different feeding patterns as well. My pl*co ONLY comes out at night, so I drop some alge wafer or veggie tabs in after the lights go out. I'll drop shrimp pellets in during normal feeding time for the cories, they go ape over them.
