Going to step it up a bit from my 59.00 Odyessea Skimmer to a ASM G4+ Skimmer...does anyone have one or would you recommend one that is better along the same priceline...425.00

I would suggest a external Reef Octopus or internal Reef Octopus over a ASM skimmer. ASM isn't terrible, but for the same $ you can get something better.

I love this link. So many people try to argue the information in the link with me and everytime I simply say "Show me YOUR data proving the study was flawed" and it shuts people up everytime. Ya, it doesn't cover a lot of skimmers, but the test showed very interesting and great results with the skimmers they tested.

Thanks for the info on the octopus, even if i don't ge that band, you justed saved me 100.00 on the one I was gonna by from the store..they price match...will you be my friend?

I have an ASM-G2 which has been just fine on my 125. I have a low bioload, really low. If the EXT-160 was available when I purchased, it would have been the one I went with.

I'm sorta trying to plan ahead so the ASM-G2 won't do for the future tank I have in mind..thanks for the heads up though
