Is it possible to tell the difference between male and female??
It's just my angel is kinda fattish and was wondering if that means its a female.

The only 100% method is during breeding when the tubes are visible.

yep, only way is during breeding, and even then it can be tough since they are so close to one another.
what kind of angel is it?? I think its a pearlscale but it was in an assorted tank.
Gold angelfish to me. My gold angels also had the same white coloration when they were young and I never realized 2 of my golds had bonded together and when they reach 7-8 months of age, they became sexually matured enough with gold markings already well developed on the forehead that they also spawned suddenly in my community tank.

Pearlscale is a type of scaling on the fish not color..I have a couple pearlscale marble koi..very distinct and obvious..this is not a pearlscale

I would have to say this one will probably be a gold.. as lupin mentioned they will often appear white as juveniles
